Meeting With Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, the Honorable Union Minister of Culture and Tourism
10th June 2025, members of SIHRA met Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, the Honorable Union Minister of Culture and Tourism, at the Radisson City Centre Hotel in Chennai and had a fruitful interaction with him. The Honorable Minister explained in detail the Government of India’s plans for the tourism and aviation sectors and answered all the points raised by hoteliers. On behalf of SIHRA, we presented a representation regarding harassment from copyright agencies, infrastructure status for hotels, and GST on food served in hotels.
