SIHRA proudly participated in the Tamil Nadu Global Tourism Summit held at Four Points by Sheraton Mamallapuram.
The Hon’ble Chief Minister visited the SIHRA pavilion, appreciated our skill development initiatives under the Nan Mudhalvan scheme, and congratulated the association for its contribution to employment generation.
The stall received an overwhelming response from delegates and investors, marking a proud moment for SIHRA.
SIHRA's Memorandum of Association states that the purpose of its formation was to "encourage, promote and protect the interests of proprietors and other persons concerned with and interested in hotels, restaurants and boarding houses..." South India Hotels and Restaurants Association was incorporated in 1951 as a company under Companies Act without having any share capital. The objective is to encourage, promote and protect the interests of member establishments. It has been rendering professional advice and assistance from time to time to all its members on topics of vital importance.
